Connecting active sub to KD49X8309C

Hi,just purchase a KD49X8309C and well pleased with it,I currently have. REL active sub and wish to connect it up tv.When researching tv it said it specs that it has a subwoofer output and all I can find is the 3 connection points on the left hand side for sat/TV aerial connections are but the top one has SUB against it but instruction manual only shows this as a tv/sat aerial connection.Am I right in saying that the reference to a sub output is the phono jack point for sony's wireless sub system or can someone advise me differently.

Hi there

The only sub you can connect to the TV is Sonys SWF-BR100. See HERE for more info.

Thanks very much for info I guessed that,have managed to run sub for now until £'s spare for next purchase from headphone port not the best but improves sound quality from weak tv speakers.Once again thanks for help.
