How do you remove the 'TV Software Update' icon?

I upgraded my XD9305 to Android Nougat manually through a USB stick and now want to remove the 'TV Software Update' icon on the Home Screen but not sure how to.

Any suggestions?

No, I want the 'TV Software Update' icon to disappear from the home screen. It's not relevant any longer

If you are still seeing this icon then it might be worth trying a reset of your TV and see if this resolves the issue.

Reset didn't work. Icon is still there

@anclaus54 I think it's timed by Sony. I had it keeping showing after the update as well. But there is a solution: just follow this thread and together with the "Featured apps" (suggestions to install bloatware) that icon goes away for good too. Just watch out that it doesn't appear again at the next Android update.
