Android tv laggy and unresponsive.

I have a sony KD-65XE8596.

The recent update which I had received, in my own experience, has actually made the TV alot more unresponsive at times and apps like YouTube take at least 20 seconds from the video back to the home screen. It feels very laggy at times aswell. This isn't all the time, this tv is excellent otherwise, anyone else having the same issues. Also, network wise, the lan connection used to drop and struggle to get an ip when the TV was switched off overnight. Static ip has sorted the issue. I also hate the 'refined' google now bar when speaking to the remote.(I thinks it's called that)
