Hi richmoss77

I wonder if it's possible to connect the sound bar to the TV via ARC and use another port on the sound bar to connect the Sky box. Does that cause any lip sync or signal drops?

Win_88

I have a KD-49XF9005 connected to my soundbar. Sky Q to soundbar (arc) and TV to the other hdmi. I'm constantly losing signal and my TV is going blank. It's like the signal has disappeared between sky and TV because it's passing through the soundbar.

If I change it and have TV to Sky Q and TV connected to Arc I get massive lip sync issues.
Any suggestions welcome as I'm getting frustrated with the setup.

Hi,

Connecting the soundbar to ARC is when I get the signal drops. Far more annoying than a lip sync!

One way is signal drops and the other is lip sync issues!

Sky decoder where famous to have a bugged implementation of HDMICEC protocol... try disconnecting it and see if the TV and soundbar work well together. If this is ok, you may buy and HMDI CECless adapter for the Sky decoder
