bravia x85 c with sound bar

I have just bought new tv. I have connected the playbar fine. sound and sub all working.

I reprogrammed my tivo remote to work with the new tv, all working fine.

The only thing I have noticed, is that the when i want to turn volume up or down, it shows a volume bar on the tv, but doesn't adjust the volume on the sound bar. It worked fine with the samsung tv, is it just the sony tv not sending signals via the optic?

it worked with my samsung tv, adjust volume and it did it to the sound bar. I have the sound settings set to audio system

its ok, was a setting in the sonos app. I don't know how to delete this thread.
