White noise recorded on videos

Sony Xperia M4 aqua. E2303, ANDROID 6.0.1

Using Pre-installed camera app- Rear camera records only White noise and crackles when shooting video. No audio is recorded.

Ive tried another third party camera app and it does exactly the same.

Any idea how i can fix this? Many thanks

I'm sorry to hear about the issue, the first thing that you might want to try is to clear the camera app settings then boot in safe mode

Settings > apps > all apps > camera > storage > clear data > restart the phone

then

Boot in >>> safe mode

next thing to try is to repair the phone with Xperia Companion, also are you saving the videos on the internal storage or an SD card?
