Hi Sam,

Thanks for your reply, but as I said altering the volume doesn't help. It is distorted whatever. I find the only way to comfortably use the phone is using the plug in headphones. Blue tooth headphone and microphone don't work as the person I am speaking to cannot understand me and using the phone on its own I can't understand the caller. So it has to be plug in headphones.

Ah well only 24 months of my contract to go before I can get a new phone!

Hi,

I'm experiencing severe distortion in the earpice of the phone, to the point that it is very difficult to understand what people are saying to me. I have experimented with different volume settings and disabled LoudX (or whatever its called). Nothing makes any difference.

I don't experience distortion on the loudspeaker nor with a Blue Tooth hands free headset (though with this, the person I am talking to gets bad sound quality of my voice).

I really like this phone, but this is unacceptable. Does anyone else get this problem or is it likely a fault with this specific handset?

Thanks.

Does it appear to be a distortion related to the volume and have you tried lowering the volume whilst on a call?

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.
