Xperia Tipo Battery issue

Hi,

I have purchased Xperia Tipo couple of days back however I noticed after fully charging the battery it was completely discharging/drained out/dead in few hours.then monitored the problem 2-3 days and submitted the handset to Service Center, They retured me the handset next day and informed me that it was software issue and they have removed the virus (!!!) and they claim the issue is fixed.

Once I back from the Service center I again fully charged the mobile in the evening and next day morning Mobile Battery was completely dead.

Ticket no which I raised for this : 12092500137

Can you please look into urgently or replace me the handset....!!!!

completly fed up with this Xperia Tipo handset...

I got my handset replaced after the first one had touchscreen problems. This second one has got a battery problem. The battery heats up like a hot potato while charging.

I am really fed up with this Xperia Tipo experience.

@drbalajipsy - Please be aware that the phone will heat up during charging.

Hi,

I already submitted my phone to local service center again and awaiting their response.

however they have informed me that report has submitted to Sony , can you ask service center to raise DOA ? I'm fed up with that faulty xperia tipo handset.

My name is rajashekar from andhra pradesh. i bought tipo dual in last august. after i update the software. since last month my battery works perfectly. bt last 7 days battery drains up quickely. normally it takes max 3 hours to get full charge but now it takes 10 hours to get full charge. i don't know what problem is this!!!
please help me to rid of this issue.

As it takes long to charge the battery you may also want to try another charger.

what is actual time to take full charge. I think max 3 or 4 hrs and now my mobile takes more than 10hrs to get full charge. please give better solution. I contact the customer suport at morning they give ticket number and said better to go near service center.
Please tell what they can do for me?

How long it takes to charge the battery depends on the charger and what output it has and if/how you're using the phone while it charges. When using a original charger and not using the phone alot it should charge in 3-4h or less.

There may be a hardware problem with either the phone, battery or charger. In that case you need to contact a service location to have it repaired/replaced.

it takes 10hrs to get full charge when charge comes to 80% it suddenly goes to 100% when reboot the phone and conect the charger it shows 80% and same thing repeats again I don't know what's the problem going on. i'm using company charger only.

it takes 15hours to get full charge n the battery goes to dead within 4or 5hours. is there any chances to replace my handset with new one. please give reply to my post. .
