Weird Restart & Problem

So, the weirdest thing happened to me yesterday... I was sitting on my computer working and my phone suddenly pops up the SE sign, rebooting. I had just checked for an update a few hours before, and there was none. After that, I went to unlock it, I noticed when drawing my pattern, to unlock it, it didn't show what I have traced over until I finished... if I go to the settings, it will show as I trace, but when unlocking, it won't. When I was using the unlock pattern before the sudden reboot, it worked perfectly. Also I noticed it is slower and more laggy after the reboot. Also, the Wi-Fi range is terribly worse, before I could be a room away from the router with full bars, but now even a foot away, i don't get full signal. Also, it sometimes won't show the network i usually connect to and will say its not in range. I am running on AT&T, with a R2CA016 build number. I'm not quite sure what has happened, I've only had the phone for a few days now, and I hope this can be resolved without having to reload all of my apps and contacts.

Also, the SE sync option doesn't show up either.... I'm not sure it thats normal or not....

Hi,

I would recommend performing a repair on your handset. In order to do this, you would need Internet access on a Windows based PC and follow the below instructions.

1. Download the PC Companion software from the link below.

2. Select Support Zone on PC Companion.

3. Select Software Update.

4. Select Repair.

Carefully read and follow the step by step instructions which will also advise when to connect the handset to the PC.
