That's correct, if you buy a phone on X country and you live in Y country, your warranty its only available in X country not Y or Z or etc.

I need guidence to learn how to get help or advice with the problems I am having with my Xperia Z and the support I can not get in my country. I beleive my phone has a manufacturing problem and still I can not have it replaced. The Sony support in my country does not even accept the phone for checking as I purchased it from another country. The registered service I was directed says it is a phone issue but refuses to replace it and trys to fix it.

The phone has a raised back panel on one corner (namely next to the back camera lens) and this caused the phone lost its water resistance. I noticed water in the phone after a short exposure to water. All the water indicators under the flaps were still white indicating the water entered from other source possibly from the raised back panel. I searched the web and saw many people complaining from the same issue. You can find details here: "http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/08/05/some-xperia-z-owners-complain-of-loose-back-panels-water-resistance-compromised/". I want Sony to consider this a production or design problem and do what has to be done by a big company.

Please direct this request to necessary places, this can be a public law suit and I am considering to take this issue to the end.

Best regards,

Why is that? Is the production in different countries have different quality? If there is a production error or design problem why does it have to be purchased from the particular country to be accepted for replacement. I can not understand this Sony claims to be a global company when there is a problem in their products they should be able to say if it is user error or manufacturing problem and do what has to be done.

There are other threads on the same topic/question, you can find the reasons behind it, or contact Sony, just remember this forum is for users to help each other

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

That is why I wrote here I need help, I will check the link you gave thanks for that. I emailed Sony support several times the only response I got was from China and they said I should ask the question to my own area which is right but the support group in my area do not response at all. So where should I complain about this.
