Bluetooth connectivity Windows 7

I have a problem using my phone as modem in windows 7 . In bluetooth personal area netwrok devices it say my phone needs trouble shooting . Right click properties and it says no driver was installed for thid device . No update driver option available too. What to do ?

What you trying to do ?

You want to make your device a modem to connect internet or need to pair device with computer Bluetooth ?

Try right clicking the phone under bluetooth personal network area devices and select the option Connect with -> Connection point (or similar). Windows 7 should have the drivers needed for PAN if you're using the standard bluetooth in Windows.

I want to shame my pc internet connection with phone o.O . Is that possible ? . Or i just want to add it to my netwrok :(. I tried right clicking and connected using access point . It says

For using your computer as modem u need to install a software named connectify ...

If you need to make your phone a modem

Settings > Tethering & Portable hotspot > ( tick on Portable WiFi Hotspot

MY wifi is dead . I was told that i can use bluetooth to do same job . btw when i tick that hotsopot thing it says tethering error

If you make a wifi connection from your laptop I am not sure you will be able to connect from your phone.Use connectify and see.

Depending on the drivers for the computers wireless network card you can actually setup a hotspot in Windows 7 without any additional software. See this link for details: http://www.techradar.com/news/computing/pc/how-to-turn-your-windows-7-laptop-into-a-wireless-hotspot-657138.

But if WiFi doesn't work in the phone you will not be able to connect it to your computer using WiFi or use the phone as a hotspot. Try repairing the phones software using PC Companion (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/) and see if that fixes the problem with WiFi. If not i suggest that you contact a service location for repairs.

I tried it repairing 100 times . It is major promplem in xperia p . Waiting for an update that would resolve it

If WiFi doesn't work after a repair in PC Companion there's probably a hardware problem in your phone. I suggest that you contact a service location for further investigation an repairs.

Wifi works but tethering doesnt
