Can't play videos after I move them to the micro sd memory card

I moved my videos bought on video unlimited to the micr sd card to save space using the file transfer app that came with the tablet and now they won't play. I just get the message " can't play video". If I move back onto internal memory they won't play - I suppose because not in the original location but can't see how to fix this. I want to store and play from the sd card. What am I doing wrong please!

I would advise contacting Video Unlimited support for your region regarding this as it sounds like an issue with the DRM on the files: http://en.support.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/app/help/VU/p1

Hi, Corky. I don't think you can play VU content from the micro sd. I got some free movie downloads through the xperia advantage app. Filled up the internal memory so I copied them to the micro sd. When I want watch one I just copy it back to internal. I use the ES file manager app for the transfers. It's just a bit of a pain as VU names the files in a jargon way as opposed to film titles. Are you transferring the movies back to the "Video" folder on internal memory?
