Power\lock button does not working

So the thing is I washing my phone screen. I've done it before too, about 2-3 times. But this time water got inside. The SD card slot, sim card slot got wet. I've already had to format my SD card because it had got damaged. Next my sim wasn't working properly. Water had even got inside my camera lens- front and back. And the LED flash too. The power button stopped working. Instead the volume up button would unlock the screen. Whenever I tried to switch off the phone, it would switch on instantly on its own. But now the phone is completely dead. I can't switch it on. The safe mode had come for sometime. I tried to restart it. But it won't switch on now. The led thing on the sides are red. Please do help ASAP.

That's a hardware issue, open all the covers/flaps and keep your phone inside a container or fabric filled with rice for 1 or 2 days

it will help dry your phone but its not certain that it will work, you have to take it to a Sony repair center
