Sony Xperia Z Accelerometer problem

Its been 3 days now that my accelerometer has stopped working. The litmus under the charging port and headphone port is RED. Will the problem be covered under warranty?

That's a water damage issue, contact your local Sony, also, do request a "vacuum test" that will show if the problem its bc you didn't firmly closed the covers or if there's a hardware issue.

Thank you sir. Another problem i was hoping you could provide a soluiton for is, I have noticed the top left back corner of the phone to be slightly lifted. Could that have caused the water ingress?

I've seen that before on other threads an even on the XDA forum and xperiablog.net. That's likely the same situation here

The only question that is haunting me is " Will these problems be sorted out under warranty?"

You are not going to find an answer here, you have to stop by a Sony Repair center
