LT18 doesn't charge or start

i have Xperia LT18i suddenly it stopped working and it stopped charging
i tried to put it to charge but that was useless, i've purchased new charger and it still not working
sometimes i do try to turn the phone on, the light near to the charger plug on the phone twinkles twice in red then nothing happens i've tried all the troubleshooting ways on sonymobile.com but nothing to help

how can you resolve that please

It could be that you need a new battery, it could be another hardware issue, take it to a Sony repair center
