Thanks Hampus..

So am I right to say, ampere rating of the charger doesn't matter to the device as long it's the same voltage supplied?

It only helps to charge faster if I use a 2A plug compared to a 1.5A plug?

Thanks..

Hi all,

What charger should I use to charge the sbh52?
When I read up the user guide, it says it recommend using a Sony charger.

I'm having 2 Sony chargers (Output : 5V/1.5A and 5V/2A) they are for my Xperia S and Z Ultra.

Will it damage my device batteries (SBH52 and Z Ultra) if a higher amp plug is used?

Thank you..

It's always recommend to use a Sony charger, and your SBH52 will not take damage by using any of these chargers.

Yes you understood me correctly. The ampere doesn't matter as long as the voltage is correct. If you have a charger with higher amp, it will of course charge faster but up to a certain limit.
