Hi Sony,

Our Sony Xperia Sola has an issue with touch screen not responding. Most notably, the top left corner icons on any screen does not respond at all (Eg. : Contacts icon in Applications screen; Gmail icon in the next screen; Google+ icon in the third screen; Liveware Manager in the fourth screen.) Touch is pathetic as a whole; trying to unlock by swiping the finger is a very difficult task; once unlocked, using any icon on any part of the screen is difficult, specifically the top left icons not responding at all - even after updating the software to the latest, doing reset procedures, etc.

This is the first Sony phone and a first smartphone. It is very upsetting that a Japanese company who introduced Quality to the world has not acknowledge the issue and has not provided a fix yet. There is little-to-no trust on Sony as on now, just hanging on to the "Japanese Quality" sentiment and hoping a fix will be given that reinstates our belief in Japanese Quality.

Sincerely,

Dinakara

Bangalore, India
