keypad not working during call

Am not able to type anything during in call. When I try to send an SMS, keypad not opening. Not able to take any notes, can't store a phone number the other person tells..

Are you using a password or pin?If yes,you need to unlock the phone while in a call.

No, this issue is in unlock mode itself..

xperia sp is knows to have issues with the touchscreen,especially when on a flat surface.

Hey,

When my phone is in unlocked state, keypad is working during call.

However if I receive any call during locked- its not working, eventhough I unlock and tried during the same call, still not working.

It looks like phone should be in unlocked state always to use keypad during call. Very bad..
