Sim lock

So I got a Xperia Z1 this Christmas and I'm very happy with it.My last phone was from another brand and it required a normal SIM card and since the Z1 asked for a microSIM I've transfered my ''data'' from the normal one to the micro one by phoning to Vodafone.Strange is that the microSIM doesn't ask for the PIN I had on the previous SIM so today I wanted to lock it.I went to Setting>Security>Set up SIM card lock>Lock SIM card (the option Change SIM PIN was grayed out so it can't possibly have another PIN) and I tried to lock it but it kept saying that it failed and ''probably wrong PIN'' or something like that.Am I doing something wrong?

what exactly do you see under

Settings > security > set up SIM card lock > Lock SIM card (check) ?

Hi Epic,

Are you sure that your option in this menu> Lock SIM card< set to "CHECK"?
