wifi proplem after system update

hello,

I've just updated my xperia s to build number 6.2.B.1.96 ,

but since this update wifi stoped , once i try to scan for available conections the device stops ,

i used to have similer proplem befor the update, if i turn off the mobile without turning off wifi ,

but i used to turn wifi off then turn off the mobile and when i turne it back on i can connent to wifi,

but now after this system update i tried every thing, i reset the device setting, i turned it off and on many times but i still can,t connect ,,, what can I do ???

You could try a software repair on the device using PC Companion.

1. Start PC Companion

2. Start Support Zone

3. Select Phone/Tablet Software Update

4. Select repair

Note that data will be removed from the handset, so make sure to back it up.

After update I am facing a problem at Wi-Fi connection. when I try to connect at Wi-Fi it shows Obtaining IP address....

Can any one help me to fix this problem...

Check your router channel number if it's on auto try to change this to for example channel 6

Also on your router check security settings as it may be blocking your phone
