Yellow screen?

This has happened a few times now. Im using my phone as i normally do and suddenly the screen freezes for a couple of seconds and turns yellow. This happened after the software update. Has this happend to anyone else? And how to fix if you can?

it hapened to me 2-3 times but i noticed my battery was low.....

My battery levels at 95% right now and it just happened again whilst i was sending a text

Hi,

That sounds quite strange. Do you experience this often? I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

I know it's not 3rd party apps because before the update this didn't happen and since the update i havn't installed any new apps so yeah

I also have this problem since the latest update. Literally the same day I installed the update the phone started to freeze and fade out but looks more orange. It looks as if the screen is burning out but then it starts to work and look normal again!

I dont have that problem, but sometimes when i push the power button, the screen light is on, but it just black

I have the same problem that seemingly occurs randomly. I tought the "vga" is starting to die but its more likely some driver issue.

Its like the screen burns up slowly and everything becomes yellowish.When i lock the screen and unlock while this happens ,its all fine again.

It happens almost once or twice everyday for some reason now, Sony must fix this sproblem

I have the same issue, it's kernel related.

Sony should fix these last bugs :

1. this issue mentioned here

2. the battery drain

I can confirm that these issues are kernel-related because after installing .205 stock sony update, I installed custom Kitkat ROM (4.4.4) from xda and still have these issues (kept .205 kernel).

I have Yellow screen problem since I've done the software update to 4.3

It is doing this 4 to 5 times a day. Wish Sony will sort out the problem.

This has happened to me on 4.1 Jelly Bean, but first a Xperia Logo appeared, then it dissappeared in red colour
Never happened on 4.3

If you have tried to repair the phone software using PC Companion and the issue still persists, I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".

I had to have pmy phone updated by the Sony Centre after email issues following the update. Now i get the screen fading to yellow/cepia in a few apps (Plants V Zombies, Suduko, Email app) are the main ones. I also have the battery getting very hot (even if i'm not using the phone)

Firmware, I have this problem since the .205 update

But nothing serious, it happens just time to time and goes away then.

Well received my phone back after sending it to the sony repair centre for a second time. It only took two days before it started the yellow screen problem again. Along with the random not coming back on when the power button is pressed. Then it just shuts down and restarts!!

How many time do i have to send it back before they fix it or give me a replacement?
