i have problem with my camera when i wants to taking a photo the camera just freezes and i lock my phone and unlock it the photo seems not to be saved. could plz help me what am i doing to solve my problem

Where are you saving the pictures? internal storage or an SD card?

also try this

settings > apps > all > camera/album > clear data > check again

If the problem persists, I then suggest performing a software repair on the device. Please see the instructions below.

Make sure to perform a backup using PC Companion before completing the instructions below.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps

Hello ! I have bought sony xperia z1 compact a week ago, i have some problems concerning the camera, to be more clear ,

clarity of the pictures is not even 5 mp when it is set to 20 mp.... When you are ready to make the picture , the clarity is very good, but after pressing the button and taking the picture, the clarity is lacking... Is anything i can do?Are there any settings that i can make? Or it's a technical problem?

Are you focusing before taking a photo? Have you tried to enable image stabilizer?

Focusing yes, i've tried and nothing ,,,but the image stabilizer where do i find to enable?

Go to camera,tap on 3 dots when on manual mode and scroll down.There is image stabilizer.

I've tried now ,still not the same quality as when you see through the camera lens...it's look like pixeled...

Try settings-apps-all-camera,force stop and clear data.Restart. Set the camera again.

No, i've been using this phone for 4 days , yesterday was the first time when i made pictures .... So , no i didn't.... I should? hat i don't understand is that when you look through the lens tho make the photo is perfectly clear but when comes the final foto is pixeled, not how you see through the lens to make the foto..

Strange,indeed if you move the device when taking a photo,the final shot will be a little blurred.

Hi, since the 4.4.4 update i'm afraid to say the camera quality has taken a backward step in my opinion, i know they changed a few things like Frames Per Second etc........there has been many posts regarding picture quality.....:smileycry:
