Hi Jake, and thanks for the response.

I wiped and restored the phone today as instructed. Since then I have tested the bluetooth streaming, and unfortunately the WiFi is still dropping constantly.

Please advise how best to proceed.

Im having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.

This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi.
Would appreciate your help on this as its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!
Thanks,

Brian

Jake, I have just realised that I posted this in error on the Z2 page, apologies. My phone is actually an Xperia Z3, just purchased a month ago.

Does this only happen when using Spotify, or does this happen with all apps when connected via Bluetooth, say Youtube for example?

Jake, the only apps I have tried would be spotify and youtube, since they utilise both Bluetooth and WiFi simultaneously.
In both cases, the WiFi has dropped several times.

This could possibly be a hardware issue with the device, in all honesty, I suggest getting the handset back to the place of purchase or contacting Sony Mobile directly to see what can be done for you.

I'm having the same problem with my Z2 when it connected to the Sony SBH50 Bluetooth headset. I have never used Spotify and it happens regardless of what I'm doing, browsing, YouTube, etc. When it happens I have to turn off the headset or disable the phone's Bluetooth. Really annoying.
