Water proof?

How do you even dare to claim your phones are water proof!?

I live in Denmark, it rains a lot here. My previous phones died because of that, so not willing to take any more risks I bought myself Xperia Z1 Compact, only to experience the same issue just after few months. I didn't take a dip holding it, I didn't sink it in the pint of beer. Just checked my messages in a slightly drizzling rain. Soon my phone screen started changing colors. I put it back, went home, turned it off and dried it. Waited 12 hours and now after turning it on again some objects on the display has some dark spots and appear blurry. Not a single dock was open during my time outside.

So tell me, how is that waterresist. And what would be your suggestions now.

Sorry to heat that but you need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care and ask that a pressure test be carried out to prove that you were not at fault http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Sorry to hear that. I even jumped into a pool with mine and experienced no problems with the waterresistancy.

I previously sent back my first z1 compact because the back was coming off. Something to do with the adhesive
