Hi,

I've a sony xperia xz2 compact phone and I read on

that the phone is dual sim. But I am unable to get an second sim card in the phone. can someone give me some help?

There are two models of Xperia XZ2 Compact. One supports two SIMS and one supports only one SIM plug an SD card. What is your model number?

I suppose you mean H8314.

It supports a sd card, so I suppose that the extra sim goes into the sd card holder, or is this not right?

My Compact is the H8314 model, Verizon in USA. It supports one SIM and one SDCard. It is impossible to put a second SIM card in this model.

So the H8314 supports one SIM as well as the SO-05K, and only the H8324 supports two SIM cards. When I bought the phone, I looked at this https://www.sonymobile.com/nl/products/phones/xperia-xz2-compact/specifications/#gref and I saw dual SIM. A bit unclear the information. It is a very good phone and I'm very happy with it, but a bit disappointing that I have the model with only support for one SIM card.
