XZ2 Battery replacement.

Hi, can see no related articles so if it is a repeat please point me to the articles TIA.

I have a Sony Xperia XZ2 a little over two years old and in great condition, with the exception of the battery which lasts aroud 24 hours... Do Sony do a battery replacement service and if not can anyone recommend services?

I would be happy to consider a new handset but really like my current one for now,

if you rather do it yourself, there are myriad guides online, make sure to buy the double sided tapes, battery, and if the housing has any physical damage, this is the time to replace it.

if you rather get Sony to do it, then do follow @najodleglejszy 's advice, keep in mind that DIY will void the warranty if any

Can you tell me when you say local support are you referring to a third party?

If it can be done by Sony so as not to void a warranty however considering the age of the handset is there any warranty still standing?

Is there any sort of catalogue for support or are you suggesting searching online?

by "local support" I meant the branch of Sony support that's covering your area: https://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/SupportAll/

they're going to be the best resource for information about what repairs can Sony provide you.
