friends hello. I want to do software repairs but I can not.

The Xperia companion program does not go to the next stage.

The next step is the step that I expect my phone to disconnect from the pc and switch to a sonoe step by pressing the voice button. I've done everything I need to do in this step, but the program does not go to the next option.

The help section told me about the key combination, I need to press and hold the volume button, but I am doing it in ten days. Can you help me.

Could you describe what happen when you connect the phone while holding the volume up key? any LED notification? is the phone off? etc
