Has anyone else had this error message on service test....

When you dial *#*#7378423#*#* and select fingerprint.

Sensor not ok...

Please let us know if it's a common issues or a hardware issue.

I have the same issue, it started after Android 10 update / also my ringtone for messaging app is custom it does not work and sometimes work.

I have a feeling it is Android 10 giving these problems.. phone was working flawlessly with Android 9 OS

May be just a problem with Android 10, hope it's just a software issue

I think it's from SW issues.

Did your SW version is 55.1.A.0.748

Yes my software version is 55.1.A.0.748 this is just aggravating, I emailed Sony, they emailed back saying call this 1800 number, being the holidays I can't do anything yet, if anything hopefully I can send it back to Sony under Sony warranty get this issue resolved. I love the XPERIA line. I've owned xperias from XPERIA z1, z5, XZ and this XPERIA 5

Hi it's Android 10 that gives the error.

I had my Xperia 5 replaced by my retailer, New one was fine on Android 9 but after I updated it to Android 10, it now says sensor Not Ok.

So most probably a software issues. Hope Sony will fix it.
