Xperia 5 screen issue

Hello,

I bought an xperia 5. From the start I have had a problem with the screen. At the bottom of the screen I have an area of the screen that does not respond. This area is located exactly between the google search bar and the first set of icons at the bottom.

This area is often used to validate the actions of applications which is very annoying
Anyone have the same phenomenon?

I'm sorry to hear about your issue, could you share more info on the issue?

1 Does the phone has a protective film and/or glass?

2 Have you tested the phone/screen ?

settings > support > Xperia test (bottom right) > Display

If the support app test fails you can try safe mode, which only leaved the preinstalled apps and software,

which lets you know if any downloaded app caused the issue if it's gone when it's on.

Press and hold on the power key, form the restart menu, press and hold on the power off button. when it asks, confirm and your device will restart, safe mode should be written on some corner of the screen.

If the issue is gone, you may need to delete some of your apps and check or factory reset your device and delete all, so make a backup beforehand.
