Folks,

Is anyone else experiencing issues with LDAC on the 5ii?

It seems it always wants to connect to my WI-H700 in 'Best Effort' mode and when 'Best Quality' is selected I have drop outs a lot. I changed the AVRCP version to 1.4 in Developer Options and this may have improved things but surely this should be unnecessary.

I have finally let go of my XZ1 for this phone which has been superb for years with no issues at all around LDAC and these headphones. I am hoping I haven't made a mistake (I got the 5 but reverted back to the XZ1 after a couple of weeks).

Me again, just wondering if there's anyone out there who is suffering the same issues? As an update playing with the AVRCP settings made no difference. Love the phone just find this infuriating.

I think the best way to go about this is to test the headphones with another device. If Quality mode is selected, the signal gets more susceptible to interference while stability mode users a lower quality signal which is easier to transmit. So as far as I know, it's normal.
