I wondered if anyone has had the January 2021 security update yet as my phone is still stuck on December 2020? Had the Android 11 update at the beginning of February.

I don't think security patches are released in the same time for all devices or countries, i think each device receive it at specific time when there is an eligible update for the device.

Thanks and appreciate the different timescales. The Pixel 3a and Nokia's we have in the house have had the recent updates for a while now which is understandable as the latter is part of Android One, but just disappointed that Sony/operator here in the UK taking so long for this.

Hi, I had the 1st February 2021 Android 11 security update yesterday... then I could not connect my Bose headphones anymore, but that's another story!

Just had the February 2021 security update so all good now.
