It depends on where did you purchase it from? What's the model of the device that you have?

I bought a XQ-DE72, but don't know where it was imported from.

I found android 14 67.1.A.2.264 to be very laggy (I've made posts about that already). I ended up downgrading to Android 13 . However, before doing so, I forgot to check the region using *#*#7378423#*#*>Service info>Software info.

I've tried HK, TW and SEA ROMs XQ-DE72 ROMs and currently using the 67.0.A.6.99 A13 TW one. All these ROMs seem to show same 8 digit "Sony product code" in *#*#7378423#*#*>Service info>Software info.

I was wondering if this "Sony product code" could be used to determine where the phone was originally intended for out of TW, HK, SEA and CN. Thanks

Where did you purchase the device from exactly? I believe the model XQ-DE72 is not available in Europe.

Also, this code is related to the SIM card services only, it won't show you what's the purchase country of the device?
