xperia 5v private space

apparently, in the latest 5v, there is the possibility to use the android 15 private space functionality. Unfortunately, I couldn't see anything relevant in the settings.

Hi @uybhege, yes, you're right.

Setting up private space:

- Find and tap [Settings] > [Privacy] > [Private space] and unlock the screen.

- To set up private space, you need to set the screen lock beforehand.

- Tap [Set up] and follow the on-screen instructions to set the lock method for private space.

Using private space:

- Tap [Private] at the bottom of the app drawer and unlock private space.

- Tap an app icon.

- To change the lock method or timing or delete private space, tap (Settings icon).

Adding an app to private space:

Tap [Private] at the bottom of the app drawer and unlock private space.

Tap (Install icon) and follow the on-screen instructions to install an app.

when I go into:

[Settings] > [Privacy]

no [Private space] option does exist!

Here is the list with the options I get:

Android System Intelligence

Privacy dashboard

Permission manager

Notifications on lock screen

Autofill service from Google

Show media on lock screen

App content

Show clipboard access

Health connect

Activity controls

Ads

Usage & diagnostics

Also, when I search in settings for "private" I only get: "Private DNS"

My screen lock is set to "Pattern"!

I think I do have the latest available! Looks like that:

but still no "Private space" option is shown!

even after the latest update (= 67.2.A.3.2) no "Private space" option shows up in the list!

Hi @uybhege, you can try these steps.

Restart your device.
Clear cache: Go to Settings > Storage > Cached data and clear the cache.
Factory reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset. Make sure to back up your data first. Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).

@uybhege It' supposed to allow you to delete cached data, however I guess you should contact Sony's tech team to check it for you.
