An MMS requires an active mobile data connection in order to be sent or received.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have been able to do it in the past without a data connection it is likely that the firmware you had on your phone had a customisation from the network to temporarily enable the mobile data before sending, and disable it after the MMS is sent. This is not a function of the default firmware though.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>MMS Queued for Sending</title>

      <description>Have noticed that my MMS messages are not sending, it is saying 'queued for sending' and then fails to send. This has just started occurring in the last week, I have never had any issues before. I am putting this question on this forum as I rang Telstra today and they were of no help, they informed me I needed to be connected to mobile data to send and receive MMS, I beg to differ because I never have my phone connected unless I physically turn it on to check emails, Facebook etc, and have never ever in the past have had trouble receiving or sending MMS with mobile data off.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone help?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/968404"&gt;@Shaz84&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as I know:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- You need data on to send and receive&amp;nbsp;MMS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- You need proper MMS internet settings installed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- If you are on pre-paid plan, you'll need enough balance to download the MMS (depends on the carrier).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
