Sony Z5 Tablet

Hi all,

Is there any news related to the next Sony tablet? I'm looking forward to buy a new tablet and I would love to get Sony but lets be honest the Z4 is almost 1 year old.

I was actually expecting the Z5 tablet to be announced back in IFA2015 together with Z5 mobiles but for my surprise and disappointment it wasn't.

I can't wait for the next tablet with beautiful 4K display, fingerprint scanner on the side and long lasting battery following the Z5 line.

Is there any news about it. maybe a release date?

The Z4 tablet came out in March this year, well, actually announced in March...barely 6 months so i wouldn't expect a new model anytime soon? The situation was different with the Z3+, which was just a small update.

I hope we can get more information about the next Sony tablet. I'm planning to get myself a tablet for christmas.

Should I wait until December or should I get another tablet now?

Just to be clear:

The Z3+ is a smartphone and is indeed called Z4 in Japan.

The Z4 tablet is simply a Z4 tablet announced in March of this year, so quite new actually.

You never know, but I would be VERY surprised to see a new tablet in December...
