SCAM regarding SONY Coupon Prize of £800,000.00

My Brother just received a Text message and an Email that his mobile number just won SONY Coupon Prize of £800,000.00. The email was convincing because it has Mr. Philip Rowley's signature and Stamp. However, my brother didn't join any game or purchased any lottery ticket. I hope SONY will be able to clear this out. I could also provide the email that was sent to my brother.

of this type of scam.

Hi there. We are aware of various scam emails and text messages purportedly being sent out from 'Sony'. We are in no way associated with these messages and so if you receive anything similar then they should be ignored and deleted.
