Sony smart TV KDL-40W65OD

My Sony TV KDL-40W65OD disconnects when I'm using youtube. It stops the screen and has a loading word come up but it never loads. I usually have to stop and start the tv (reboot) and sometimes it loads for a little while and other times it won't load at all.

Does anyone have the same problem and is there a solution please?

Hi @larrett-09 and welcome to the Community

Do you only have this problem with Youtube?

I think the first thing to try (if you haven't already)

is a power reset - unplugging the TV for 60 seconds then

plugging in again and powering on.

The next step would be to perform a factory reset to see if

that helps.

I have got the same issue on my 55XE7096 - after a week or two the youtube client stops playing videos with black screen and loading circle. When I cut the power off completely from the TV and then retry playing after a while it works ok for another week or two. I think it's related to some cache-releasing issue.
