Disable demo mode - NW-A35

Hi,

I've just purchased a Sony NW-A35 from Currys/PC World, and after unboxing it, it appears to be stuck in the 'Demo Mode'.

How can I turn this off?!

Hi Chris, welcome to the Sony Community

The usual trick with this is to go through the following sequence:

Go to the Home Screen
Turn on the Hold button
Press Left < Key 5 times
Press Center > || Key 5 times
Press Right > Key 5 times

Hopefully this will reboot the device and play as normal.

I've tried running through the sequence of button presses, but it unfortunately didn't work.

Is there a particular resource I could look up the unlock sequence code?

Sadly, that's the only sequence code I know of. It worked for models up to a couple of years ago, sorry it's not worked on yours

If you contact Sony Support, they will be able to sort this out for you.
