another Sony MDR 1000X Bracket breaking

Hi all

I've seen this on the forum previously. A great pair of these great headphones and although I have been thoroughly impressed with the sound, somewhat disappointed that a £300+ set of headphones has such a weak bracket on the hinge and has started to break, as others have noticed.

I have now read many issues online where there is a design flaw in the headphones where too much pressure can cause the bracket to break, so I am extremely disappointed.

any advice?

Just update headphones going strong and love that my S8 has LDAC codec now so they sound even better.
