Hi there I currently own a qx-800ui head unit for my car. The buttons on face plate have stopped working and it sometimes comes on then cannot be bothered. I have tried to install the new firmware to update it but unfortunately when the buttons decide to let me in , I can only access the demo on or off in general setting as the dial will not scroll through my other options. If any one can help me please I will be so great full. If not its a head unit heading for the scrap heap lol

I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware issue. Maybe you can try to reset the device using the reset button with a small object ( the one right above the source button).

Hi there thank you for responding to my dilemma. I have tried the reset many times but no joy, thinking now it's a bin job lol

Hi,

A reset was your best bet here, if even that's not having any effect, I think you can try getting it repaired or something. So not all hope is lost.
