I have a new set of headphones. The left bud has charged (they were left over night to charge up) and I have been able to pair it with a phone. The right bud flashes red (not solid red) when in the charging case. When you take it out of the charging box its dead. Any idea what a flashing red light means when in the charging case? I'm assuming I have duff right bud and they need to go back. I can't find anything in the manual or online about a flashing red light when in the charging case.

Any suggestions welcome.

I think you should try resetting the headphones using the steps here as it looks like a simple glitch.

I just bought my wf-1000x today and am having the same issue but with the left bud. Did you find a solution?

No, came to the conclusion they were broken. John Lewis exchanged then for
a pair of Jabra Elite.
