CD to FLAC conversion

Can anyone reccommend a high quality CD to FLAC convertor. I currently use 'To FLAC Converter' purchased from the Apple App store but feel that the sound is not quite as good as the original CD. I would be curious to hear what others are using and their opinions. I am using the NW A-45 walkman and a Macbook but do have access to a PC (windows)

If you have itunes just stick to AIFF since A45 is compatible

If you really want FLAC then use sony Music Center for PC to rip cd to flac
