NW A35 Bluetooth Volume Not Working

Hi all, I've tried solutions posted by others but no success - I have an NW A35 which works fine. I just got a pair of wireless earbuds (BT ver 4.2), they pair fine and play music. However, the vol blows my head off! The volume button on the A35 just makes the insicator in the display show + or - without actually changing the volume or showing the normal gradient bars. Tried other BT headphones - they work fine also tried these earbuds on another devide they work fine on there, so its just this pairing. Tried deleting, resetting etc but no joy 😞

Unfortunately nothing worked so I'm returning the earphones
