Headphone not supported Xperia X Compact

So recently, on my Xperia X Compact when I have tried plugging in both my own and Sony Headphones, a message comes up saying "Headset not supported. Use another headset or visit Sony Mobile Support Site for more information." I have tried plugging in a variety of headphones and still the message comes up, and my headphones don't work. This has only started happening recently, before my headphones have worked fine.

Been having the same problem recently and when I clicked that link, it leads right back to here.
