I got a Sony GTK-XB7 audio device with a broken 40GHX2240-MAF2G panel. According to the service, Sony no longer manufactures parts for it. Should I throw out the expensive device? What about the 10-year parts supply obligation?
Can somebody help me ?

When you say "according to service" which service are you referring to here? Authorized Sony service centers or 3rd-party?

Also, have you tried reaching out to the support reps directly?

Yes, I got an answer from my support representative that Sony no longer makes parts for my audio device!

It seems that Sony doesn't have parts for that anymore, maybe you can check with 3rd party store for available spares
