Sound bar turning it self off

I have the cbt60 sound bar and it’s worked fine up until now. I soon as I turn it on the lights come on and it turns itself off within seconds. It’s connected via a optical cable to the tv. I’ve done the usual unplugged it and checked all the cables. Anyone any ideas please??

Hi Nirvanamadliz,

I am a bit confused here. Are you talking about the HT-CT60BT soundbar which has the SA-CT60BT as a part of it? If that's the case, Have you tried resetting the soundbar? You can find out how to do that on page 24 here.

I too have the same model and same issue. The reset function mentioned has not worked. Is there a solution to this?

I believe there is something wrong with the hardware, reach Sony reps. and find the nearest repair center to your place, inspection is needed i guess.
