Hi,

As far as I can see there is no price difference based on colour. As long as you are looking at the exact same model, the price is the same.

Click on NEX-5/NEX-3 in the box on the left and the NEX models will show. If you change the colour of each model, the price does not appear to change.

The colour choice is a matter of personal choice - I don't think any is better than another. Black is popular because most professional cameras and DSLR cameras are usually black. Silver is an attractive finish. Red (NEX-3) is chosen because it is different and may seem more fun.
