Hello,

I use a camera sony handycam dcr-dvd405, and the picture package is only compatible with windows XP ... BUT, i work with windows 7.

All the PMB programme that i found on the net, is all right, but this programme could not find my camera.

I have a lot a story to put in my comptuper.

Could you help me.

Hello mike2427 - Welcome to the Sony Forums

As it is a DVD camcorder, you may find that the way to transfer video with the lowest amount of hassle is to finalise the DVD in the camera and then insert it into your PC/Laptop and import the video to your computer using regular video editing software, such as Windows Live Movie Maker (there are various free and paid software packages available that will be able to perform this task). Once a DVD has been finalised, it should be viewable in any DVD player and at the same time, any computer DVD drive.

This may not be as smooth as using PMB to transfer the data, but it may be the best option to save worrying about compatible software with Windows.
