HDR-CX760E: Manual settings aren't so manual

Hi! So my HandyCam is HDR-CX760E and there's a problem with it's manual settings. The point is I want to switch all the parameters to manual. So I start with the shutter speed and set it to 50, then go to exposure and choose manual too and then I see the shutter speed set back to automatic. What?! Later on, I discovered that my camera allows me to set only one parameter to manual. But I need at least locked exposure and shutter speed. What's the problem here? Old handycam firmware?

Hello X-RUST

As far as I am aware, this model of camcorder only allows one manual mode to be selected at any one time. I am unaware of this being changed by a firmware update in the future but any future firmware releases would be featured on the official camera site which is here:
