Groot nieuws had de titel beter geweest!

Niet zozeer omdat Samyang nieuwe lenzen heeft aangekondigd, maar vooral ook omdat het de eerste AF-lenzen zijn voor de "FE-mount" die niet van Sony of Zeiss zijn!

Persoonlijk dacht ik dat Sigma als eerste op deze boot ging springen, dat het Samyang geworden is...top!

The new 14mm and 50mm are the widest and brightest lenses in their classand offer superb quality images to photographers. Optimised Optical Design as Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Lens

Both 14mm F2.8 ED AS IF UMC and 50mm F1.4 AS IF UMC are specifically designed to work in harmony with full frame mirrorless cameras in Sony E mount. The flow of light is devised based on the uniqueness of the distance from glass to sensor in mirrorless cameras to create optimal performance. Along with portability of mirrorless lenses, the 14mm F2.8 and 50mm F1.4 are compatible with full frame sensors to deliver the wideness and sharpnessof image to photographers.

The 67mm filter diameter brings the maximum amount of light into the lens to create the best work of light in photography. The 14mm F2.8 is the widest angle available in the market and the F1.4 of 50mm and F2.8 of 14mm apertures are by far the brightest of full frame mirrorless lenses, offeringa beautiful bokeh effect and the best quality images under various exposure conditions.

Based on Samyang Optics’ exceptional optical technology, aspherical lenses have been included in both lenses to minimise aberration and unnecessary light dispersion, delivering high resolution from the centre to the corners of the image.

AF Performance and Ergonomic Design Based on Class-Leading Technology

These new products will be the first autofocus lenses in over 40 years of Samyang’s class-leading core optics technologies.Samyang has captured the essence of world leading image technology with their manual focus lenses and reinterpreted it into autofocus lenses. Om het gokje wagen te vergemakkelijken (of vermoeilijken...) de huidige 50mm F1.4 en 14mm F2.8 van Samyang (met MF) kosten op dit moment elk 400 euro!

De Sigma 50mm F1.4 ART (toplens) zit aan 800 euro.

Ik hoop dat het 500 euro wordt, 600 euro zou nog ok zijn. Ben benieuwd!

Hier ben ik ook zeer benieuwd naar! Zien er weer toplenzen uit. Zelf ben ik een liefhebber van de manuele Samyang objectieven. Autofocus valt even af te wachten maar ziet er op het eerste zicht veelbelovend uit! Ik weet niet of ik mijn manuele 14mm F2.8 in zou ruilen voor een exemplaar dat automatisch kan focussen... Batterij gaat langer mee (zonder autofocus) en voor landschappen vind ik het net praktischer om manueel scherp te stellen (vaak op oneindig)

Je kan de AF-versie ook op MF zetten en AF gebruiken als het je uitkomt

Ook tof is dat er nu exif in de foto zal zitten en ook voor de beeldstabilisatie maakt dat uit! Die info wordt nu ook doorgegeven!

De AF zit er wel wat naast bij sommige shots, scherpte op F1.4 ziet er goed uit (in lijn met de verwachting), helaas best een stevig stukje purple fringing rond de contouren. Huwelijksfotografie wordt daarmee moeilijker...de 55mm 1.8 van Zeiss doet dat alleszins een pak beter!

Ik ben echt een beetje verlieft op mijn samyang lens,

Ik wilde gaan spraren nu voor een walkaround zoom en de a 6000 maar die walk around gaat denk ik de samyang 300 mm worden. En hopeijk later ook de samyang 25mm dan heb ik alleen vaste brandpunten maar als die allen zo prettig zijn dan de 100 mmm dan vind ik dat geen enkel punt.

De europese prijs lijkt vast te liggen op 580 euro!

Je kan 3x deze Samyang lens kopen voor de prijs van de Zeiss 50mm F1.4 (die eveneens in augustus verschijnt).

Wie gaat welke lens halen?

Ik ben zelf erg benieuwd naar de nieuwe 14 2.8. Met name of de distortion is opgelost. Zodra hij uit is zal ik hem testen en mijn bevindingen laten weten
